Head of Tax and Customs
Hayk Safaryan is a recognised expert in tax and customs law with over 20 years of professional experience.
He has extensive experience advising on the tax aspects of M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and reorganisations, financing, real estate and securities deals, as well as personal financial planning. Hayk regularly conducts independent tax due diligence.
As the head of the Customs practice, he advises corporate clients on customs and foreign currency regulation, including customs control for imports and exports, customs tariff regulation, determination of customs value and duties, and compliance with rules of origin.
Hayk represents clients in their interactions with regulatory authorities during tax and customs audits. He has significant experience in resolving tax and customs disputes, both at the pre-trial stage and in court.
