Artashes Oganov leads the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate practice. He specialises in advising on complex cross-border and domestic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity investments, asset restructurings, and other corporate matters.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Artashes has advised on major projects across key industries, including industrial manufacturing, IT and TMT, financial services, retail, transportation, logistics, and agriculture.

Artashes has extensive experience advising on a wide range of real estate matters. He advises on real estate M&A transactions and other various forms of real estate investment, large-scale lease projects – including leases of future real estate and build-to-suit projects, as well as major construction projects involving industrial, infrastructure and commercial real estate.
Experience

  • Sovereign investment fund – advised on an investment project involving the acquisition of a minority stake in ATOM, Russia’s first locally produced electric vehicle.

  • Kama Capital – acquisition of two landmark outlet centers in Russia: Outlet Village Belaya Dacha (Moscow) and Outlet Village Pulkovo (St. Petersburg).

  • Kama Capital – acquisition of the Metropolis business center in Moscow from the US-based fund Hines and Czech investor PPF Real Estate.

  • Russian investment company – acquisition of a processing business from an international group, offering cashless payment and IT solutions for fleet management (including fuel cards) in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

  • Leading Russian banking group – establishment of a joint venture with the largest Russian container shipping operator aimed at developing and operating a cargo terminal complex.

  • VTB Group – advised on an option agreement with Russian developer Dominanta for the buyback of digital financial assets (DFAs) linked to the square meter price in the hideOUT residential project.

  • VTB Group – advised on the acquisition and subsequent buyback (with a guaranteed return) of a 25.1% stake in the iCITY skyscraper project in the Moscow City district with MR Group developer.

  • Nissan – sale of its Russian business, including the automotive plant in St. Petersburg, to FSUE NAMI.

  • S8 Capital Group – acquisition of the Russian businesses (including production facilities) of leading global tyre manufacturers Continental and Bridgestone.

  • Russian engineering company – advised a contractor on the preparation, negotiation, and execution of an EPC contract (FIDIC model) for the design and construction of a mining and processing plant in the Krasnoyarsk region.
